On this weekend emigration adventure, we will comfortably stay in the same centrally located 4-star hotel in Bremen for 3 nights. Daily Highlights
Day 1: Bremen
Willkommen in Bremen! After your arrival, meet your tour leader and explore the area around the medieval market square of Bremen. Then, head to Bremen’s oldest city quarter, called “Schnoor quarter”, for tonight’s welcome dinner! D


Day 2: Bremerhaven
Travel from Bremen to Bremerhaven just like your ancestor’s did: by boat! Then, literally walk in your ancestors’ footsteps and re-live their emigration journey at the “German Emigration Museum” in Bremerhaven. B, D
Day 3: Cloppenburg
Travel back in time and literally step into the past at a living history museum in Cloppenburg, Lower Saxony. On a guided tour, you will learn more about how farmers and peasant farmers (perhaps including your own ancestors) lived in Germany during the 19th century. B, D


Day 4: Bremen
After one more breakfast buffet at your hotel, say farewell to Bremen and continue your (ancestral) travel adventure in Germany and/or other European countries. B
